- Strengths of different people:
- Tri: equally good at frontend/backend; good at time management / organisation
- Sophie: good with report / research writing; down to code anything
- Victoria: generally quite organised; good w/ writing; quick learning
- Paul: good at organisation; can adapt to any code section; design
- Alex: communication with client; can adapt to any code section

- Tri: Amanda, mother, her and husband pride on being great parents in supporting children in pursuits; children achieving top grades; eldest wants to pursue neuroscience; difficult to reach goals due to lack of opportunity/resources; opportunity to use innovations in AI to overcome issues faced by rural schools; key benefit for customers: near limitless educational resources; parents frustrated that daughter can’t reach career; LLMs trained on neuroscience
- Victoria: Amy, 16, lives in small town in Kent, local public school, both parents are busy and full-time working, can’t support education as much; wants to work in STEM; school’s IT not very good; teachers don’t know much about programming; but she wants to learn to program; frustrated because she doesn’t have much financially; personalised AI tutor
- Alex: head teacher with two children; children going to school he is head teacher of; average grade is not the best; wants to increase it to support his own children and area; lack of resources incl. teachers & topics; quote (paraphrased) “have to constantly give students bad news that [they - local students] cannot compete with other students going into STEM due to lack of resources in their own education”; app to access teachers from other areas; subsidised by the government
- Sophie: student worried there is not much extracurricular; app to find specific locations of activities, e.g. basketball, football, etc; as schools can’t afford it so multiple schools can combine together
- Feasibility of LLMs to be deployed to rural areas given internet.

- Deciding on our issue to tackle: Lack of funding hence specialised teachers in rural schools for an effective and quality education.
- Clarified on literature review - must be focused on RRI
- No consensus on GenAI use
Get done for the weekend:
- Everyone does an RRI literature review: find a relevant paper, summarise what it talks about, and then try to infer something relevant to the group project process
