Neural Network Layers

Each layer has one or more nodes / neurons.

• The input layer provides information from the outside world to the network.
• The output layer transfers information to the outside world.
• The middle layers are called the hidden layers because they have no direct connection with the outside world, we can have $0$ or more hidden layers.
